Notes on data: The Tourism Industry Performance Index (TIPI) is a composite measure of tourism-related economic activity in Yukon. It combines indicators representing the accommodation, restaurant, retail, and transportation sectors, including hotel revenue per available room (RevPAR), short-term rental revenue, restaurant sales, retail sales, airport arrivals, and highway traffic volumes. The index is benchmarked to 2018 = 100.

An index value above 100 indicates that tourism-related economic activity is higher than in 2018, while a value below 100 indicates lower activity. The index measures relative change over time rather than total tourism revenue, visitor spending, or visitor counts.

Revenue-based indicators are adjusted for inflation prior to indexing. The index is intended to measure overall tourism industry performance and should be interpreted as a trend indicator rather than a direct measure of tourism's economic impact.
