  • July 2026 was the strongest month on record in this dataset, with $69.4 million in spending - a 37.1% increase over July 2025.
  • March 2026 spending rose 20.8% year-over-year, boosted by Whitehorse hosting the Arctic Winter Games.
  • Full-year visitor spending in 2025 totaled $427.4 million, the first complete year available in this dataset.

Notes on data: Moneris processes approximately one in three (33%) of card transactions across Canada. To estimate total card spending, reported Moneris transaction values have been scaled up by a factor of three. This estimate does not include cash transactions and may not perfectly reflect spending processed through other payment providers.
